A small contingent of Jumblies attended our first Salty Seadog sail-a-away at Morecambe and Heysham Yacht Club where we were warmly welcomed by our hosts.
Jumbles is now proudly an RYA recognised teaching establishment. This means that the instructors in the club are able to offer courses to members in the beginning levels of sailing.
The training section of the club often run Saturday training sessions for a number of weeks in order for members to gain a certificate in Start Sailing and Basic Skills. Also, powerboat level 2 and Safety Boat courses are occasionally run so that members can be qualified and safe to operate the Safety Boat.
